Battle: Los Angeles starring Aaron Eckhart, Ramon Rodriguez, Ne-Yo, Michelle Rodriguez, Bridget Moynahan and Michael Peña was a great movie (yes, that’s an official rating from yours,truly). Also called Battle: LA it was sort of like Independence Day 4 meets District 9, and I say that loosely because the movie’s plots aren’t too similar. Of the two, ID4 had a closer plot to Battle: LA.
The combat scenes were pretty intense even though the movie garnered a PG-13 rating, and in the beginning scenes of the movie the mysterious Aliens are not shown. For me, the movie was very good at creating suspense and an air of mystery surrounding the Marine’s enemy and how devastating the Alien attacks and tactics are.

This year thousands of men will die from stubbornness is mainly the entire message on a billboard near my home. Curious, I checked Google tonight and the AHRQ.gov website. It turns out this ad is not VERY effective as it requires a lot of poking around the Internet and AHRQ website.

One of the great things about self-hosted WordPress sites is that you can rather easily change the look of your entire site. No need to pay for a re-design of your site, just choose the Theme you want, install it right through the Appearance section in your WP Admin section. In many cases you are up and running with no change… unless you’ve made enhancements to your theme, or your old theme had a built-in function your new theme doesn’t. And if you change themes, child themes won’t help, because your changes and customizations are contained in the child theme files which would no longer be in use on your new theme.
So how do you get the benefits of child themes and the stability of not changing themes? Instead of a theme, use a framework.
WordPress frameworks (not to be confused with the WP Framework) allow you to customize the look of your blog, and some even have drag-n-drop type tools to help. I’ll be evaluating Thematic Framework, Genesis framework and the Thesis Framework and comparing them. In later stages I’ll actually install one or more of them and do comparisons. I’m kind of doubtful about doing that with Thesis because $87 is a little much for an evaluation/demo.
Maybe I should look for some more Frameworks. WordPress has a list of some Frameworks for my consideration.

Today’s lunch was healthier than what I often have for lunch, though depending upon how many 
people are in line it might cost you as much time as fast food during the lunch rush. At any rate over by the deli at our local Piggly Wiggly hot meals are served, and one of your local grocery stores might have the same if you don’t have Piggly Wiggly or prefer shopping elsewhere.
Its certainly not as quick as bringing something from home and cost a little more but is healthier than fast food. I chose baked chicken, Spanish rice and corn with corn bread. Throw in my favorite 99 cent Arizona tea and its a filling meal.
