Posted byGoogle and German courts are making nice-nice with one another again, this time over Google’s Image Search which German courts are taking offense to saying that the thumbnails produced by Google infringe on copyright laws. The German appellate court ruled against Google in June (2008) in a lawsuit filed against the U.S. search giant by German venture capitalist Daniel Giersch. Giersch runs an electronic postal delivery business that goes by the name G-mail, which is short for “Giersch mail.”
