Google Maps get you where you are going

I use Google maps a lot to get where I’m going and the “new to me” feature that lets you drag the travel route if you prefer to get where you are going a different way. Maybe you want to make a stop in between your place and your destination or maybe you just want to avoid that stretch of highway during rush hour. Its easy to do and unlike some others I’ve seen it lets you see the actual route changing as you drag.
1. Hover on the route Google has chosen and you will see “Drag to change route”, now click on that and hold down the moouse button while you drag the route toward the roads you’d prefer to use

2. As you drag you will see the route changing live, and if you slow down or stop you can see the street you are on and the new distance and time:
